South-western Ontario based artist Dstinct, AKA Josh Aitken, has been turning out art and design work for over a decade, amassing an imressive group of clients and body of work along the way.

Dstinct spends most of his time working in Comics as a letterer and graphic designer. He has been published by a variety of publishers, including Moonstone, Image (both Central and Shadowline), and IDW. He’s also worked as an Associate Editor with Zeros2Heroes Media, working under the guidance of Matt Toner, Paul Gertz and Paul Dini.

In 2011, he has his first short story, “Old Friends”, published in Moonstone Books’ Phantom Generations Collection, and his first comic writing work, “Gladiator”, based on the story by Philip Wylie, is to be published by them as well.

Beyond Comics, Dstinct also works in the film industry as a location sound engineer and camera op.

When not working, he can be found living off a steady diet of old samurai films and binging on comics.
